Construction and spatio-temporal derivation of hazardous chemical leakage disaster chain

Hazardous chemicals are indispensable substances for the development of modern industries. However, improper storage, transportation, or handling hazardous can cause chain disasters such as leakage and explosion, seriously threatening safety people’s lives, society, economy, natural environment. In this study, we analysed occurrence evolution process various disaster events caused by chemical based on system theory, constructed a from aspects disaster-causing factors, disaster-pregnant environment, hazard-affected bodies, post-disaster losses. Taking methane accident case conducted numerical simulation spatio-temporal dynamic derivation in three-dimensional (3-D) geographic scene. This study provide support assist informed decision-making, including monitoring, pre-warning, forecast prevention, emergency preparedness, response, further improving efficiency response urban management.
